Mediterranean Glazed Air Fryer Salmon

Mediterranean-style air fryer salmon with a light lemon, mustard, and spice glaze. Quick, fresh, and full of flavour, it pairs perfectly with rice or a simple salad for an easy meal.

Serves: 3
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8–10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 salmon fillets
  • 1½ tbsp garlic infused oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • zest of ½ lemon
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (garlic and onion free)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic infused oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, maple syrup or honey, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the salmon in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Brush the glaze evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is cooked through and lightly caramelised.
  6. Let the salmon rest for about one minute before serving. Finish with fresh parsley or dill if desired.

Tips

Fresh herbs such as parsley or dill are best added after cooking to keep their flavour bright. Avoid overcooking the salmon, as fish continues to cook slightly after it is removed from the air fryer. A thin glaze works better than a thick coating and helps keep the texture light.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this salmon with lemon herb rice, roasted potatoes, or a simple salad. A fresh cucumber salad or tabbouleh also pairs well with the citrus glaze.
